Nice Flowers is the floral studio of Susie Baty & Laura Cave, based in Peckham Rye.

Susie & Laura met in a pub, through a mutual friend & haven't stopped wanging on to each other about flowers since.

​

Susie spent 20 years working in film and TV art departments, primarily as an on set Art Director.  She walked away from that career in 2022 after realising life is too short to make TV (if it sucks the joy out of you).  She has had a life long love of flowers & colour.  Susie has retrained as a florist by learning on the job, freelancing for other floral studios. She has a strong eye for composition & storytelling through design.

Laura has a background in jewellery design, & is the Founder & Director of Just Trade, a fair trade, design-led jewellery & accessories brand.  Laura brings a love of detail & craftsmanship to floristry.  She is an absolute magpie for sculptural seed heads & pods.  Laura has her own growing patch & her flowers go into Nice Flowers whenever possible.
